  • 5+ years of CPG retail sales experience with direct ownership of the Target account
  • Deep understanding of Target's systems, cadence, and buyer expectations
  • Firsthand experience managing the relationship with Target
  • Proven ability to manage and lead broker partners
  • Strong understanding of Target.com and omni-channel retail dynamics
  • Solid grasp of account P&L
  • Solid grasp of promotional strategy
  • Solid grasp of retail math
  • Track record of driving both distribution gains and velocity at a major mass retailer

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the Target business end-to-end, including buyer relationships, line reviews, forecasting, promotional planning, trade management, and customer P&L
  • Development and execution of omni-channel strategy across in-store and Target.com to drive total account performance
  • Broker leadership, ensuring best-in-class execution while maintaining direct ownership of the relationship and strategy
  • Building and delivering compelling, data-driven business reviews to Target buyers
  • Cross-functional partnership with shopper marketing to develop and execute activation plans that drive velocity both in-store and online
  • Structured account planning including volume forecasting, promotional ROI, and distribution expansion strategy
  • Acting as a core commercial leader, partnering directly with the SVP of Retail and contributing to overall retail strategy
