Requirements

  • 2-6 years experience in customer-facing technical role
  • Experience as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Technical Customer Success Manager
  • Good understanding of modern technical systems
  • Experience with Cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience with Containers
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of observability platforms
  • Experience with SigNoz, Grafana/Prometheus, or DataDog
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own deals from first conversation to making the customer successful
  • Run discovery for deals
  • Deliver demos
  • Address technical queries from customers
  • Help customers with instrumentation/dashboards
  • Navigate security/finance/legal evaluations
  • Work directly with customer engineering teams
  • Design OpenTelemetry instrumentation strategy for customers
  • Customize dashboards for customer use cases
  • Optimize for customer-specific use cases
  • Identify patterns in customer engagements
  • Work with product teams to build better defaults, templates, and tooling
  • Build the foundation for Sales/CS function
  • Grow into leadership as the company scales
