- 2-6 years experience in customer-facing technical role
- Experience as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Technical Customer Success Manager
- Good understanding of modern technical systems
- Experience with Cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with Containers
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Good understanding of observability platforms
- Experience with SigNoz, Grafana/Prometheus, or DataDog
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own deals from first conversation to making the customer successful
- Run discovery for deals
- Deliver demos
- Address technical queries from customers
- Help customers with instrumentation/dashboards
- Navigate security/finance/legal evaluations
- Work directly with customer engineering teams
- Design OpenTelemetry instrumentation strategy for customers
- Customize dashboards for customer use cases
- Optimize for customer-specific use cases
- Identify patterns in customer engagements
- Work with product teams to build better defaults, templates, and tooling
- Build the foundation for Sales/CS function
- Grow into leadership as the company scales
