Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR quotas
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to engage SMB decision-makers effectively
  • Familiarity with using sales CRMs (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)
  • Comfortable making 200+ outbound calls per day
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to balance high activity levels with effective follow-ups
  • Proven ability to work in a remote environment with excellent time management
  • Reliable internet connection and zero noticeable latency
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM – 7 PM EST

Responsibilities

  • Set 12+ completed demos per month by making outbound calls and sending outbound emails
  • Help promote our booth / presence at trade shows via pre-event outreach
  • Create demos for Account Executives (AE’s) by making outbound phone calls and sending outbound emails to our lead lists
  • Focus 80%+ of your time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects
  • Represent Applause with integrity, passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the product’s features and benefits
  • Help cold prospects understand the value of Applause software, building awareness and interest
  • Set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects to meet with AEs, facilitating pipeline growth
  • Call trade show attendees, encourage booth visits, and follow up to nurture leads
