Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing, portfolio marketing, or related experience in B2B SaaS / platform organizations with narrative ownership responsibilities (e.g., messaging frameworks, pitch architecture, cross-portfolio storytelling).
  • Track record driving GTM narratives that align product roadmaps with market value and customer outcomes.
  • Proven ability to partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Demand teams to influence strategy and build consensus.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading with clarity to drive prioritized execution.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong reading, writing, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the platform story that unifies Samsara’s hardware, software, data, and AI capabilities into a cohesive value proposition.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences (executives, CIOs, product users, partners, developers).
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across go-to-market plans, launch briefs, pitches, and demos.
  • Lead the creation of platform pitch decks, quarterly roadmap narratives, and executive-ready content that support business priorities.

  • Shape, test, and occasionally present content for major events and keynotes, including breakout sessions, demos, and senior executive presentations.
  • Work with event marketing and communications to ensure a consistent and impactful public narrative.
  • Synthesize customer insights, competitive trends, and platform usage data into strategic positioning updates.
  • Serve as a marketing lead on platform-level research and strategic briefs.
