Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of public affairs experience
- Background in Minister's staff with Health/Social expertise, Head of Public Affairs in healthcare/insurance, Senior position in Central administration, Parliamentary assistance, or Public Affairs consultancy with private sector experience
- Expertise in health, insurance, and social protection systems
- Mastery of legislative and regulatory processes
- Strategic thinking and synthesis/simplification capabilities
- Existing public/professional network
- Project management and autonomous work capabilities
- Understanding of technology and its regulatory implications
- Native-level French and/or Dutch
- Professional fluency in English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Lead flagship regulatory projects for expansion in Belgium or European Institutions
- Define a user-centric future for healthcare
- Navigate complex legislative and regulatory processes
- Identify and push for meaningful regulatory changes
- Build and execute strategic policy roadmaps
- Build and maintain relationships with Belgian health ministers, parliamentary committees, and civil servants
- Engage with Belgian healthcare federations, medical associations, and digital health stakeholders
- Represent Alan's interests in Belgian healthcare policy discussions
- Create strategic partnerships with Belgian healthcare institutions
