Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required (healthcare administration, clinical sciences, or related field) Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role within a clinical or laboratory operations setting Prior phlebotomy or oncology experience strongly preferred Phlebotomy Certificate required as per state regulations. Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities. High proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management Familiarity with clinical compliance standards Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily supervision and support to the Test Coordinator team. Serve as the first line of escalation for operational issues, patient and account inquiries, and procedural uncertainties. Conduct biweekly 1:1 meetings with each direct report. Review and approve employee timecards and manage scheduling. Ensure Test Coordinators maintain compliance with specimen handling protocols, EMR documentation, and patient identification practices. Monitor key metrics and proactively mitigate issues impacting operational performance. Oversee supply chain needs, including ordering and tracking supplies. Assist with the coordination and execution of internal and external audits. Conduct regular quality checks on patient coordination activities, specimen documentation, and communication logs. Support onsite visit preparations, shadowing staff as needed. Partner with Field Sales, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to resolve complex cases. Lead team meetings to share updates, disseminate best practices, and reinforce Natera’s standards.
