Requirements:
University degree in GIS, geomatics, engineering or equivalent education and experience 3+ years experience as a Project Manager with IT and/or GIS applications Able to qualify for CAPM certification Demonstrable experience developing proposals and/or scopes of work Understand applications of GIS Basic knowledge of ArcGIS technology Familiarity of Professional Service Automation (PSA) applications (optional) Strong interpersonal skills / relationship building Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to negotiate and build consensus Time management / multi-tasking ability Excellent written/ communication / presentation skills Team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
Responsibilities:
Manage overall delivery of projects from scoping through to implementation Lead the scoping and definition of consulting services for new opportunities Define and set project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules Manage the delivery of pre-defined services packages and customer specific projects Facilitate discussion and consensus among various project stakeholders Proactively identify and manage risks and issues Negotiate with clients with respect to project scope, deliverables, timelines, resources and acceptance Monitor and manage project costs and margins Produce status and other project control reports Obtain stakeholder signoff on deliverables Manage multiple projects and identify priorities Manage projects from several days to several months’ duration Manage project scope and costs to meet financial objectives Participate in the company Employee Development Program Provide formal and informal reporting Follow the Esri Canada Services Delivery Guide Proactively build connections within Esri Canada Participate in team activities virtually and/or in-office General duties or responsibilities as assigned
