Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). 5+ years in a closing role as an AE, CSM and/or AM. Proven experience in an account management or customer success role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-related industry. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and customer retention goals. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, DocuSign, etc). Ability to work independently and manage a diverse book of business. Results-driven and customer-centric mindset. Familiarity with SaaS, cloud computing, or related technologies is advantageous. Strategic thinking and the ability to identify growth opportunities within accounts.
Responsibilities:
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing customers. Proactively identify and address customer needs to prevent churn. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customer base. Explore and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory. Provide training and guidance to customers on product usage. Manage the contract renewal process. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. Collect and relay customer feedback to product development and support teams. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a unified customer experience.
