Requirements:
College degree in Business preferred. 6+ years of progressive sales experience. Experience in the organic / health food industry a plus. Demonstrable success at creatively solving problems and implementing solutions. Strong presentation, negotiating and listening skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Outstanding organizational, and time management skills. Intermediate level of computer and technical skills with an emphasis on MS Office Suite. Ability to adapt communication style based on the audience. Tech savvy with apps and sales related software. Resourcefulness and Resiliency in Selling. Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key business partners. Proven ability to make decisions based on a mixture of information, analysis, experience, and judgement. Self-starter, highly self-motivated. Adept and Agile in working through business analytics. Strong ability to navigate business financials.
Responsibilities:
Build and strengthen relationships with customers, brokers, and distributors. Develop and drive strategic plans to meet or exceed revenue goals. Provide key inputs for demand planning and manage forecasting for owned accounts. Compile and review sales data to react to changing trends and competitive threats. Create and present customer-specific presentations and programs. Ensure execution of distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing tactics. Present innovation in a timely manner with quick speed-to-market plans. Collaborate on marketing programs with customers and internal teams. Effectively manage trade spend against assigned budgets and follow trade compliance. Communicate account activity/results and conduct quarterly business reviews. Drive strong partnerships and engagement with broker partners. Attend designated trade shows and events.
