Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working as a PharmD or a CPhT.
- Active PharmD or CPhT license and/or certification.
- Experience teaching CPhTs online.
- Experience using online teaching tools (e.g., Canvas, Zoom, Kahoot).
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with large student audiences.
- A robust toolkit of "memory and learning tricks" for teaching CPhT topics.
- Strong student empathy, excellent communication skills, and a positive outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate large-group review sessions (20-75 students) over 25 weeks.
- Focus sessions on memorization, study strategies, and recall practice.
- Lead engaging and motivational sessions to build student confidence.
- Prepare independently for live sessions (up to 4 hours per week).
- Develop and modify session agendas and lecture decks.
- Develop gamified approaches using tools like Kahoot.
- Offer multiple live session slots to accommodate different time zones.
- Perform skill demonstrations live for 6 key lab skills.
- Support NHA ExCPT and PTCB exam prep with review sessions.
- Respond to student questions and moderate online course channels.
- Monitor Canvas discussion boards for student responses and questions.
- Apply subject matter expertise in core pharmacy workflows, law, pharmacology, dosage calculations, customer service, and scope of practice.
- Work with Learning Experience team and Instructional Designers to adjust content.
