Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Learning Mentor

Active CPhT certification (PTCB or NHA) and current state licensure. Associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution. 4+ years of experience as a practicing Pharmacy Technician. Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students in healthcare or vocational training. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency with Zoom, Google Workspace, and online learning platforms. Prior experience preparing learners for certification exams (preferred). Experience in online bootcamps, allied health programs, or adult education (preferred). Familiarity with diverse learner populations (preferred). Availability during weekdays for maximum scheduling flexibility (preferred).

Conduct 1:1 and/or small group virtual sessions for skill-building and exam readiness. Provide live feedback and coaching on student skill demonstrations and challenging curriculum areas. Break down complex topics into simple, visual lessons. Offer insight into real-world pharmacy settings. Respond promptly and empathetically to learner questions. Help students foster a growth mindset and provide encouragement. Track progress and flag students at risk of falling behind. Partner with internal teams for timely interventions. Participate in mentor training, team meetings, and program improvement efforts. Maintain alignment with Program Operations and Career Success teams.
