Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management, specialty pharmacy and large employer environments. 2 years minimum experience with a direct client relationship role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and client relationship management. Strong experience and skills working with and presenting to corporate executives. Ability to develop strategies and implement programs for client pharmacy benefit programs. Strong clinical and financial analysis skills. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Travel required, up to 25%. Pharmacy background with a bachelor's degree. MBA and/or PharmD/RPh preferred. Business development experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary/lead consultant on strategic clients. Lead and cultivate multi-level client relationships. Identify business needs and create custom solutions for pharmacy benefit strategy. Lead vendor strategies, including procurement, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor management. Provide industry expertise related to trends and opportunities. Manage client relationships, develop strategic plans, and track vendor performance. Lead and participate in client meetings. Identify and present opportunities for trend management and cost savings. Support clients in creating and using customized clinical programs. Review PBM and vendor reports for opportunities and performance. Maintain client relationship reports and documentation. Responsible for client renewal and strategy development. Lead and cultivate revenue opportunities for segment growth. Assess opportunities for expanding PSG services within existing clients. Leverage client relationships for PSG prospecting. Participate in conferences and internal workgroups to develop new programs. Provide oversight and guidance for client advocacy during vendor implementation. Lead the development and management of the RFP process for clients. Participate in the annual RFI process. Lead the review process for new and renewing vendor contracts. Lead the creation and renewal of PSG client agreements.
