Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer (DLA-Jets)

Five (5) years of relevant experience IA Level certification: IAT-II (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) , Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials (GSEC), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Security+ CE, or any IAT III level certification is required Computing Environment: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Wireless Professional (CCWP), or other relevant Telecommunication Engineer Senior Cisco certifications

Experience in telecommunications network design and management. Ability to work independently on moderately complex requirements. Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems. Analyze and develop telecommunications networks supporting voice, data, video, and/or wireless services. Develop designs and plans for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems. Define problems, develop system requirements and network specifications. Coordinate with other information system professionals for proper network service implementation. Develop alternative solutions and backup plans. Manage evaluation and cost estimation of voice and data LAN services. Design access and backbone networks using carrier services. Manage analysis and design of wireless voice or data networks. Provide technical and administrative direction to personnel. Review work products for correctness and adherence to design concepts. Ensure progress according to schedules. Make recommendations for approval of major network installations. Prepare milestone status reports and presentations.
