PreSales Solutions Architect - Hyperspectral

Ability to obtain and maintain a US TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Earth/Environmental Science, or other relevant field. 6+ years of experience in applied hyperspectral data analysis and applications. Experience crafting hyperspectral use cases and presentations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience working with GIS and Remote Sensing users. Experience in IMINT, ISR, and related fields. Experience with ERDAS, QGIS, SocketGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL and other common geospatial and hyperspectral software packages. Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers & sales team. Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive working mindset. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. Advanced with Python to process imagery, manipulate hyperspectral data, interact with Planet’s APIs and build data pipelines. Ability to lead customer engagements. Ability to run workshops or training sessions with users.

Build and deliver presentations and product demonstrations. Create relationships with customers’ technical and management staff. Recommend solutions architecture to fit business challenges. Assist with the response to tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s, proposals. Work with sales team colleagues to determine account development plans. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to act as the voice of the customer. Attain quarterly and annual sales and operational objectives. Represent Planet’s Hyperspectral customer requirements to Sales leadership. Present to key executive Government stakeholders. Act as a mentor to team members and lead training.
