Sr. Automation and Release Engineer

Expertise in automation, tooling, build systems, Linux, containers, virtual machines Deep familiarity with Cloud and Cloud-Native Principles Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize cloud marketplace integrations Ability to troubleshoot and improve applications and processes, analyze current code and industry developments, and develop engineering solutions Proficiency in managing and maintaining compute environments, including virtualization and containerization 5+ years of relevant work experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP Direct hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions at scale, or current hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience

Architect, implement, and maintain automation, build, and test tooling Design and implement test automation for software packages and operating systems Provide subject matter expertise on automation and build tooling Contribute to architecture-level discussions, planning, and implementation Research to ensure optimal paths forward Document each project to share knowledge and facilitate cross-training Develop proof of concepts and minimal viable products Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product deliverables and business objectives Identify opportunities to optimize performance and reduce costs
