Release Engineer - MetaMask

3+ years of experience in release engineering, CI/CD, or build/release coordination Experience supporting cross-functional teams and reviewing/cherry-picking production code branches Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools: Bitrise, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitHub Runners Strong scripting ability, GH Actions, YML-based systems Git workflows (trunk-based, Git Flow) and semantic versioning Excellent communication skills

Support day-to-day release tasks including cherry-pick reviews, build validations, and release coordination Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Runners, Advanced GH Workflows, and CircleCI Automate and improve build/test/release workflows via scripting (Bash, TypeScript/JavaScript, etc.) Monitor build health, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve blockers Ensure proper versioning, tagging, and signing of builds for mobile and browser extension platforms Submit and track releases on App Store, Play Store, and extension stores Partner with QA to integrate and validate unit, UI, and E2E tests in release workflows Maintain clear documentation and checklists for release processes Coordinate feature flag rollouts using LaunchDarkly
