Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in outbound SDR/BDR/telesales/call centre (B2B preferred)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable making cold calls to senior business owners
- Able to follow a structured playbook and think on your feet
- Good listener who can take notes while speaking
- Happy working remote and self-managing time
- Willing to work meet key Australian calling hours from South Africa
- Experience calling into Australia, UK, or other English-speaking markets
- Experience with sales engagement tools (e.g. Apollo, HubSpot, Salesloft, Outreach)
- Experience with cloud-based calling systems / VoIP diallers
- Exposure to professional services (accounting, consulting, agencies, IT services)
- Interest in business, finance, or entrepreneurship
- Resilient and comfortable with rejection
Responsibilities
- Build and manage lists of Australian SME owners using Apollo
- Enroll prospects into multi-step sequences (email, LinkedIn, call)
- Make outbound calls using a cloud calling system/dialler during AU business hours
- Follow a call framework and ask discovery questions
- Speak with owners/founders/MDs/partners/CEOs to qualify them
- Book qualified meetings directly into Account Manager's calendar
- Keep detailed notes in Apollo regarding company basics, pains, and priorities
- Share feedback from the front line regarding objections and questions
