Requirements:
8+ years of experience in agency and/or project management within an integrated advertising agency. Experience working with AOR and D/AOR clients within pharma. Proven expertise in multi-channel marketing, including media planning and execution. Proven experience being financial accountable for managing up to $3M in revenue and oversight for up to 10M. Proven ability to stand-up new client accounts and large books of business. Highly collaborative and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage and lead while maintaining professionalism, humor, and tact. Proven ability to effectively lead through change, ensuring adoption of new processes or initiatives. Exceptional communication skills, capable of motivating diverse teams, fostering teamwork, and leading across all levels of the organization. Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. Exceptional problem-solver, skilled at anticipating roadblocks, mitigating risks, and driving solutions. Demonstrated ability to grow and develop a team of project managers. Expertise in complex meeting management and facilitation. Deep expertise in project management tools and methodologies, including risk management, scope management, and change management. Experience in software development life cycles, web technologies, creative design processes, and digital marketing strategy preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project management software.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee tactical planning, activation, and execution for assigned portfolio. Oversee project facilitation, helping teams navigate ambiguity and resolve challenges. Mentor junior and mid-level team members on tactical execution and agency standards. Ensure assigned portfolio meets or exceeds revenue and on-time delivery targets. Lead and oversee project scheduling, estimation, scope management, budget tracking, and forecasting. Oversee budget management and revenue reconciliation processes. Ensure projects are properly scheduled, resourced, and delivered on time and within scope/budget. Oversee and lead the forecasting process for resourcing and capacity planning. Lead team consensus-building and ensure documentation of key decisions. Oversee and guide project health analysis and risk mitigation. Oversee and guide communication best practices across the portfolio. Work cross-functionally with Client Services, Strategy, Technical, and Creative leadership. Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability within project teams. Proactively identify and address team dynamics, risks, and challenges. Lead strategic internal communications and presentations. Oversee the development and maintenance of strong client relationships. Serve as a trusted senior face of delivery for the client. Lead and contribute to senior and executive-level client presentations and new business opportunities. Ensure project managers consistently build and maintain strong client relationships. Proactively identify and mitigate client relationship risks. Optimize operating procedures, forecasting processes, resource management, and workflow tools. Ensure adherence and effective use of existing tools, templates, and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive strategic enhancements. Set the standard for professionalism, leadership, and project management best practices. Lead team efforts in training, mentoring, and onboarding new team members. Effectively manages, guides, and coaches direct reports. Escalation point for a team of Associate Project Directors, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Coordinators.
