Senior Staff Counsel

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas. Minimum 5-9 years of proven trial attorney experience, preferably within Insurance defense litigation. Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload independently and effectively. Strong knowledge of Texas law and civil procedure, particularly for personal injury, general liability, and commercial auto cases. Exceptional legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in legal case management software, e-discovery tools, and remote collaboration technologies.

Establish and operationalize a new Texas staff counsel office. Manage all phases of litigation for assigned cases, from investigation to post-trial. Identify and implement process automation and workflow enhancements for efficient case management.
