Advanced SQL proficiency, including writing complex, optimized queries with window functions, CTEs, and complex joins. Mastery of a modern data visualization tool (e.g., Count.io, Looker, Lightdash, or Metabase). Familiarity with event-based product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap). Strong understanding of front-end and mobile analytics tracking design and instrumentation. Deep knowledge of experimental design, including advising on A/B/n test setup, defining key metrics, and conducting statistical analysis. Strong understanding of statistical significance, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing. Expertise in applying analytical frameworks such as funnel analysis, cohort analysis, user segmentation, and retention/churn analysis. Proven experience working alongside Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers, understanding their roles and how to partner effectively.
