Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience 3-5 years in a Controller or senior leadership role CPA strongly preferred Audit experience preferred Sage Intacct experience with multi-entity environments, financial reporting, inter-company transactions, revenue recognition, and third-party integrations preferred Proven track record of leading teams and building functions Multi-site/Multi-state accounting leadership experience in Behavioral Health or Telehealth medical practice management Accounting experience with multiple legal entities and Management Services Agreements (MSAs) Experience with Medical Practice Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), GAAP revenue recognition, and third-party RCM integrations Familiarity with commercial payers and Medicare/Medicaid payers Experience integrating third-party employee expense management systems Experience with a shared chart of accounts structure Experience with budgets/forecasting using financial and statistical data Experience with revenue and cost allocation methodologies Experience with eliminations and consolidations Experience with internal and external financial report presentation
Responsibilities:
Manage accounting and payroll team members Oversee day-to-day accounting functions (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, revenue recognition, month-end close) Direct payroll operations for accuracy and compliance Oversee payroll tax filings and year-end processing Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses Lead initiatives for operational efficiency, automation, and financial governance Oversee financial and payroll systems for accuracy and scalability Lead process improvement initiatives Support CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling Provide insights into financial performance Partner with leadership on financial strategy Align with HR, Operations, and other departments Communicate financial results to senior leadership Lead annual audit activities and liaise with external auditors Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
