Telecoms Field Engineer

Proven experience with Horizon and LG telephony systems Experience with other platforms such as EvolveIP or Mitel is advantageous Structured cabling installation and testing Blown fibre system installation and maintenance Fibre optic splicing, termination, and testing OTDR testing and fusion splicing techniques Competent with industry-standard tools and testing equipment Self-motivated professional with excellent problem-solving skills Strong customer service focus with professional communication skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Full UK driving licence Flexibility to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation

Install, configure, and maintain telecoms systems including Horizon, LG, and other unified communications platforms Deploy structured cabling solutions Install and terminate copper cabling Install blown fibre tubing and cables Perform fibre optic splicing, termination, and testing Conduct OTDR testing and use light source/power meters Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on client sites Participate in on-call rota Ensure installations comply with industry standards Provide technical documentation and handover information
