Postgres Engineer

5+ years of experience with Postgres security, encryption, RLS and permissions Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals Hands-on experience building extensions in C and Rust Understanding of PostgreSQL internals (parser, planner, WAL mechanics, MVCC) Strong troubleshooting skills for managed PostgreSQL deployments Experience with PostgreSQL's background worker framework, shared memory management, and hook system Experience in async or globally distributed teams

Maintain and expand the stability and functionality of hosted Postgres offering Build extensions in C and Rust Troubleshoot managed PostgreSQL deployments Analyze core dumps and resolve performance problems Build testing and own idempotent deployment to many running postgres instances Work with complex extension ecosystems, understanding compatibility and upgrade paths
