Requirements
- Bring a strong property and casualty (P&C) insurance background.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for financial loss reporting and analytics solutions.
- Analyze business data stories and document functional requirements.
- Support source-to-target mapping and business rule validation.
- Assist with UAT planning and execution.
- Understand data elements, structures, and standards used in financial services transactions and reporting.
- Understand cloud-based data storage and sharing.
- Apply data standards while balancing regulatory and compliance requirements with business needs.
- Use project management skills to manage moderately complex projects with minimal coaching and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with SMEs and stakeholders.
- Translate business data stories into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and establish analytics requirements.
- Develop and implement data integration strategies using data marts and data warehouse applications.
- Support source-to-target mapping and validate business rules.
- Assist with UAT planning and execution, testing updates, and technical specifications.
- Track issues, decisions, and approvals and collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
- Improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet changing business demands and guidelines.
- Manage data from multiple sources, troubleshoot data issues, and proactively support data quality.
