2+ years experience managing a team of data or analytics engineers. 7+ years overall data engineering experience. Strong background in software development fundamentals. Comfortable with agile project management. Able to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities. Experienced with mentoring and coaching engineers. Technically credible. A servant leader. Skilled written and verbal communicator.

Directly manage a team of 5-8 Data and Analytics Engineers. Provide people management to mentor, train, and promote professional growth. Grow the team by closing skill gaps and hiring. Partner with analysts, sales, and project managers to onboard new clients. Manage, prioritize, and execute on migrating dv01’s pipelines from Spark and Scala to dbt and BigQuery. Collaborate with Project Management to run sprint rituals and ceremonies. Review and contribute to technical planning. Communicate technical decisions to stakeholders. Work with engineering management peers to continuously improve the Engineering Organization.
