Strong academic credentials including a J.D. from a top law school. Membership in the New York state bar is required. 4+ years of experience with a top national law firm or in-house with a technology company. Strong project management, communication and analytical skills. Ability to work independently but remain connected in a remote work environment.

Serve as outside general counsel to early-stage and growth companies. Form and structure new entities, draft founder documents, and set up cap tables. Lead venture financings end-to-end. Manage debt transactions for venture-backed companies. Own closing execution. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts. Advise on corporate governance and compliance. Proactively manage projects and client communications across time zones in a remote-first environment.
