(Contractor) Senior Counsel, MENA (Regulatory & International Legal)

8+ years of post-qualification relevant legal experience. Experience with social media, media, or gaming industry on internet laws, UGC, product policy, corporate, and regulatory matters. Experience engaging with regulators (media, telecommunications, online safety). Strong critical judgment and analytical skills. License to practice law in UAE. Deep understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English. Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to handle a diverse and complex workload. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.

Advise on existing, pending, and developing regulations affecting Roblox in MENA. Identify new regulatory trends and educate company leadership. Help create a cross-functional response to legal obligations. Develop and implement procedures, policies and programs for MENA compliance. Analyze complex legal issues and translate into practical advice. Evaluate, engage, and oversee outside counsel in MENA. Liaise with relevant regulators in MENA. Provide legal advice on local content ratings. Respond to compliance advice requests from engineering, product and marketing.
