Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. Minimum of 8 years of tax experience. 2 years in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm. Experience with tax transactions, accounting, and reporting for investments other than securities, including partnerships, LLCs, real estate debt and equity, and derivatives. Experience working in a regulated environment. Expertise in analyzing differences between tax basis and Statutory or GAAP basis of accounting. Expertise in tax accounting principles and partnership taxation. Expertise in managing and analyzing investment portfolios from an income tax perspective. Knowledge of tax accounting software systems. Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Proficiency with MS Excel. Familiarity with Data mining/SQL skills and Bloomberg. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with various levels of employees and management. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
