Requirements:
Bachelors in science/business + 17 years experience, OR Masters + 14 years, OR PhD + 10 years. 15+ years in healthcare/laboratory industry with expertise in market access, payer strategy, or managed care. 5+ years of people management experience. Proven record of securing coverage policies and executing contracts with national/regional payers. Demonstrated experience with innovative molecular diagnostics, specialty oncology therapeutics, and/or medical device markets. Established, influential relationships with key payer decision-makers and industry stakeholders. Consistent achievement of or exceeding defined goals. Ability to lead and work effectively across Medical Affairs, HEOR, Legal, Reimbursement, and Commercial teams. Strong project management, financial analysis, and communication skills. Consultative selling expertise.
Responsibilities:
Set payer strategy and vision for national/regional accounts. Lead medical policy, coverage, and contracting approaches. Own contract lifecycle: negotiate, close, implement, and drive pull-through. Integrate Adaptive solutions into payer value-based care programs and clinical pathways. Build and deepen multilevel payer relationships. Develop account strategies and coach team for optimal outcomes. Create contracting plans and perform rate/volume/ROI modeling. Lead cross-functional initiatives. Serve as executive point of contact for complex negotiations. Provide payer insights to internal teams. Partner with Field Sales/Strategic Accounts. Plan and host payer engagements. Monitor industry, regulatory, scientific, and competitive developments. Resolve payer account issues. Cultivate strategic external relationships. Track and report performance.
