Software engineer and personnel manager or team lead. Hands-on experience leading 5 or more engineers. Led development projects and created opportunities for others to become leaders. Worked with various stakeholders outside of engineering. Worked in fast-paced environments making quick decisions under conflicting constraints. Deep experience with system design. Proficient in general purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go, Java, Typescript). Track record of successfully delivering complex projects for web applications and services. Able to work in different technical systems and concerns alongside other stakeholders.

Be accountable for the team's impact, guiding them to high technical productivity and reliability. Foster a healthy, results-oriented, and collaborative culture. Represent the team in engineering organization-wide planning, initiatives, and processes. Work with Product Managers and Designers to develop technical roadmaps. Set team direction collaboratively, establishing objectives aligned with company goals. Participate in sourcing, screening, hiring, growing, and retaining talent. Understand workflows, processes, and business problems. Contribute to the codebase and review pull requests. Build relationships with various stakeholders. Develop rapport with direct reports. Contribute to the architecture and design of the system. Mentor direct reports through collaboration and feedback. Contribute to growing the organization's culture. Fill in as tech lead when necessary. Take ownership of system(s) within the platform.
