Responsibilities:
Administer production PostgreSQL and MySQL databases (cloud and on-premise) Monitor performance, implement failover strategies, and manage access/security Design infrastructure using Terraform and automate configurations with Ansible Implement auto-failover, DNS management, and load balancing to ensure high availability Work with internal product and data teams on scaling, optimization, and migrations Maintain Linux servers hosting database environments Support CI/CD practices and routine database automation Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for database systems
