Senior Algorithm Engineer

Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying algorithms or data models in production. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with SQL, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Dask, Polars, DuckDB, or PySpark. Experience designing, building, maintaining, and evolving microservice architectures and distributed systems. Experience working with large-scale or high-frequency datasets. Familiarity with SaaS or software product environments. Collaborative and pragmatic mindset. Strong communication skills. Proven experience mentoring and supporting other engineers. Technical leadership capabilities.

Design and implement algorithms for forecasting, pricing, and optimisation. Lead technical design discussions and guide architectural decisions. Translate business and energy-market requirements into data solutions. Improve the robustness, performance, and scalability of existing models. Mentor peers through code reviews and technical guidance. Collaborate with Product, Data, and Delivery teams. Contribute to reusable components and frameworks.
