Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RN (International Experience welcome) Knowledge of immigration processes (preferred, not required). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly. Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting nurses through a complex process. Ability to manage multiple candidates and timelines simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the relocation, licensing, and immigration process. Educate and coach nurses on licensing transfers, exam preparation, and practice standards in their new state of employment. Provide empathetic guidance to candidates as they navigate major personal and professional transitions. Collaborate closely with Flint’s immigration, operations, and partner facility teams to ensure a seamless experience for nurses. Track candidate progress and proactively identify challenges or delays, providing creative solutions to keep processes on track. Advocate for candidates’ needs while maintaining strong partnerships with facility stakeholders. Contribute to Flint’s mission by helping place nurses into roles where they can make an immediate impact on patient care.
