Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (preferably with US-based or staffing businesses). Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Stripe, and Ramp. Strong understanding of US accounting principles, payroll, and reconciliations. Proven track record of managing high transaction volumes and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Confident communicator able to take initiative and drive results. Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
Handle all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll reconciliation, and month-end closing. Manage and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online, Stripe, and Ramp. Review and interpret financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for savings. Prepare and present reports on P&L, churn, retention, and expense summaries with insights and recommendations. Audit and reconcile thousands of transactions monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Independently manage books from start to finish, ensuring timeliness and precision. Proactively communicate with leadership and cross-functional teams, presenting findings and recommendations clearly.
