Requirements:
Proven skills and experience in project-level financing in the solar energy industry Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience Familiarity with the development and diligence process required to successfully finance energy projects BA/BS required, ideally in a quantitative, business, or technical field Strong experience and skills with Excel spreadsheets, financial modeling and data analysis Familiarity with financial/accounting principles Familiarity with electricity industry players, economics, and trends Familiarity with solar industry basics and modeling tools Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Support the VP with all debt, tax equity and other project-level financing for the company’s solar and/or storage projects Maintain financial models in coordination with internal and external resources Value projects and project portfolios owned and under development Assist with development activities related to optimizing the value of the company’s solar assets Work closely with Business Development and Origination teams to conduct market research and make go-to-market recommendations Cover the company’s target markets as an analyst Support Business Development and origination efforts by leveraging industry contacts
