Answer inbound patient phone calls Manage copay collections and communicate with other departments Create partner cases daily Post late cancels weekly Review patient electronic communications daily and delegate as needed Create and maintain billing ledgers for patients Assist teammates in larger projects Learn and understand insurance billing basics (PPOs, HMOs, Medicare, Workers Comp) Maintain industry working knowledge of medical billing Support admin functions Handle queue-based work (authorizations, insurance payment posting) Achieve goals set by management Perform ad hoc tasks at manager's discretion
