Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred 10+ years of experience in the power or energy industry with a strong focus on transmission planning, or interconnection strategy Demonstrated expertise with RTO/ISO markets (e.g., CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, MISO) Strong understanding of FERC regulations, market design, LMP pricing, congestion, curtailment, and basis risk Proficiency in power systems modeling and tools such as PSSE, PowerWorld, PROMOD, Plexos, TARA, or similar Proven experience developing and using custom models/tools for forecasting, congestion analysis, or financial risk evaluation Experience supporting M&A due diligence Experience presenting to and representing companies before ISOs, utilities, and regulatory stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with external parties Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach
