Requirements:
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management Active CPA license, or educational credentials to sit for the CPA exam, and/or hold a Masters degree in business or accounting. Minimum 5 years' experience in public accounting and/or industry. Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting and customization within various ERP systems. Experience using QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and/or other accounting platforms. Working knowledge of Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and/or Concur is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables. Knowledge of GAAP is preferred, while deep understanding of accrual accounting is required. Demonstrated leadership experience, including a willingness to teach others. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor teammates for quality control and professional growth. Partner with stakeholders to lead globalization efforts across US and Bengaluru teams. Assist with client onboarding and system implementations. Collaborate directly with clients and tax or audit teams. Perform in-depth financial analysis and research complex accounting transactions. Schedule team tasks and delegate work efficiently. Serve as a bridge between clients and team members. Utilize and adapt to accounting systems like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct. Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially advanced MS Excel. Complete yearly learning plans and lead trainings as a subject matter expert.
