Operations Manager

Seven (7) + years of experience in supporting Information Technology as an Operations Manager. Required to have and maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) security clearance (Tier 4/6c). Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification. HS Diploma/GED. Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services. AWS Solution Architect certification is mandatory. Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Administer and support applications, operating systems, and network connectivity. Evaluate daily system performance for adequate response times. Establish and document procedures for data integrity, system fail-over, and backup/recovery. Acquire, configure, and maintain servers for development, testing, and production environments. Maintain software updates, design and implement new system structures. Track and monitor server usage and up-time. Plan, implement, administer, and optimize servers and network infrastructures for high performance. Set up and maintain fault tolerances, monitor and manage accounts. Set up, deploy, monitor, move, and alter cloud systems in an automated way. Establish and implement standards for cloud operations. Provide multi-discipline environment support across various platforms. Manage teams or enterprise teams. Coordinate maintenance and operation of large-scale highly available systems. Provide technical understanding of IT, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems. Present material to senior Government officials.
