Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent), preferably in Sciences, Engineering or a Sales-related business field. Strong skills in consultative selling and negotiation. Working proficiency in English and Hindi. Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales of customized equipment or other key components of an industrial product or process. Ability to write convincing business cases and sound technical reports. Confident speaking and presentation skills. Practical working knowledge of basic legal principles of contracts and the inherent risks and liabilities pertaining to terms and conditions of sale. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Responsibilities:
Achieve budgeted intake of new orders for Direct Sales. Promote Eriez equipment and Services. Adhere to sales-related policies and procedures in an ISO environment. Engage customers using consultative sales concepts. Understand contracts and negotiation strategies. Proactively grow sales to meet long-term targets. Follow the strategic Sales Plan and maximize new business development opportunities. Identify and pursue new clients and grow existing accounts. Develop key markets and key accounts to achieve budgets and maximum profitability. Respond to inquiries and enter them in the CRM in a timely fashion. Qualify new sales opportunities through a consultative selling process. Utilize CRM to proactively schedule and perform follow-ups. Conduct a Win Plan for high-value or strategic opportunities. Process orders and ensure clean handovers to execution staff. Seek technical know-how from HQ/Affiliates for equipment selection and process flow sheet development. Negotiate and transact orders with acceptable margins and terms. Record and maintain client data and intel in CRM. Document and disseminate knowledge and best practices. Perform "New Client" review procedure and conduct transactions in accordance with identified risks. Support commissioning, acceptance trials, customer training, and site services. Adhere to provided sales procedures and approval workflows. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual order intake and projections. Complete Initiatives/KPIs and provide updates. Participate in sales review meetings. Update CRM and other reports weekly for order projections and sales priorities. Submit customer visit reports within 3 working days of return. Issue meeting minutes and service reports to customers in a timely fashion. Proactively seek new clients and leverage contact network for prospecting. Participate in trade shows, technical seminars, and give presentations. Develop relationships with customers and representative network through face-to-face selling. Monitor and report on competition and Eriez' relative strengths/weaknesses. Utilize lab for equipment sales promotion with value-added testing.
