Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and cloud-based Windows Server environments with expertise in Azure
At least 5 years of experience in progressive leadership roles
Experience in Healthcare IT, including HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements (preferred)
Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes (preferred)
Proven success guiding engineers to build high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
Strong technical background with deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and automation tools like GitHub, PowerShell, and Python
Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the global Cloud Engineering team
Define and evolve enterprise-grade cloud architecture and application hosting strategies in Microsoft Azure
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations
Establish and enforce standards, policies, and priorities for operational excellence
Manage cloud infrastructure costs through forecasting and optimization
Advance system resilience by minimizing outages and strengthening controls
Ensure adherence to security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, CIS)
Lead development of KPIs, OKRs, and business continuity plans
