Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and cloud-based Windows Server environments with expertise in Azure
- At least 5 years of experience in progressive leadership roles
- Experience in Healthcare IT, including HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements (preferred)
- Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes (preferred)
- Proven success guiding engineers to build high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Strong technical background with deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and automation tools like GitHub, PowerShell, and Python
- Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the global Cloud Engineering team
- Define and evolve enterprise-grade cloud architecture and application hosting strategies in Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations
- Establish and enforce standards, policies, and priorities for operational excellence
- Manage cloud infrastructure costs through forecasting and optimization
- Advance system resilience by minimizing outages and strengthening controls
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, CIS)
- Lead development of KPIs, OKRs, and business continuity plans
