Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related field is required.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
  • Experience in working with healthcare clients or within a healthcare company is highly regarded.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming payments and ensure proper posting to customer accounts in the accounting system.
  • Monitor accounts for non-payment and delayed payments, and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist in generating invoices and ensuring the accuracy of billing details.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to accounts receivable.
  • Maintain organized records of all collections, payments, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and submit regular aging reports to management, highlighting overdue accounts.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service) to resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reports.
  • Stay current on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
