Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience promoting and selling ophthalmology medical devices or software solutions.
  • Proven track record in opening new markets and managing distribution networks.
  • Ideally a university degree, with a degree in life sciences being a plus.
  • Established network & relationships within the ophthalmology market.
  • Extended knowledge of business dynamics, strategies, and regulations within the European market.
  • Familiarity with CRM and business suite software solutions (HubSpot/Salesforce).
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong marketing skills to research new markets and employ effective sales techniques.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze and improve business strategies, developing growth-oriented plans.
  • Established relationships with key local stakeholders, including KOLs, clinics, and purchasing groups.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Capability to train and guide clinical staff on using solutions.
  • Experience in developing pricing strategies aligned with client budgets.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the business and gain market share in assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local KOLs, clinics, purchasing groups, and C-level executives.
  • Hit and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving market development activities.
  • Administer and implement individual business plans for each territory, monitoring and analyzing business strategies for growth.
  • Oversee and improve marketing activities, providing recommendations aligned with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with partners, vendors, suppliers, and KOLs.
  • Train and guide clinical staff on the use of products and solutions.
  • Monitor international business transactions and proactively address challenges.
  • Report on and analyze competitors' activities and pricing strategies.
  • Design pricing strategies aligned with customer budgets.
  • Coordinate with the management team, maintain budgets, and participate in team conferences.
  • Evaluate market trends and support product introduction plans.
