Requirements:
  • BS/MS in an engineering or analytical discipline from an accredited university.
  • More than 5 years of relevant industry experience in analytical sales roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Management Consulting.
  • Strong technical presales experience, ideally within an AI SaaS workflow environment.
  • Advanced technical skills for troubleshooting complex implementation problems.
  • Superb communication and presentation skills for presenting CAT or Generative AI concepts.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to manage client expectations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and offer post-sale support.
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and sharp problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support Sales.
Responsibilities:
  • Within the first three months, become familiar with the product and its capabilities, as well as the technical challenges and requirements of clients.
  • Deliver complex technical demos to prospects interested in SmartCat's technology.
  • Execute occasional proofs of Value (POVs) and provide quotes within tight deadlines while overcoming technical hurdles.
  • Proactively engage target accounts with value engineering methodology.
  • Support sales by showcasing how SmartCat’s technology solves customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to meet prospective customer requirements.
  • Travel to high-profile customers, tradeshows, and webinars to promote SmartCat.
