How We Work

You will join a small, multidisciplinary, and global team. Our expertise spans public procurement, program management, and data analysis. We embrace remote work, with team members comfortable using tools like Slack and Google Suite. OCP values diversity, equity, and inclusion in its workplace. You will collaborate closely with regional program staff and local partners. This involves designing programs and providing technical support. Data and Technology at OCP

OCP builds and advocates for the Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS). This free, non-proprietary standard guides data publication in public procurement. Nearly 80 governments and organizations now use OCDS. You will work with complex data sets, often scattered and of varying quality. This means tackling real-world challenges in data collection and architecture. You will use open-source tools, especially Python and SQL, for analysis and visualization. You might also explore machine learning and AI to create innovative solutions. We continuously develop our suite of tools. You will help rethink how we deliver the best data and digitization support.
