- Bachelorβs degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the automotive industry or a multinational corporation.
- Extensive knowledge (or strong understanding) of accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP), standards and financial reporting requirements
- Experience in managing the general ledger, financial reporting and intra-group transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting software (SAP, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Support in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close process, including reconciliations of balance sheets and profit & loss accounts
- Ensure compliance with our intra-group regulations and reporting requirements for all intra-group transactions.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate management of capitalized assets and assets under construction (IAS 16, IAS 38) including their acquisition, revaluation, tracking and disposal.
- Provide detailed analysis and insights on financial performance, highlighting areas for improvement
- Interpret and apply technical accounting standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
- Support the preparation of audit schedules, including reconciliations and analyses of financial data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting operations to increase efficiency and accuracy. Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems or upgrades.
