- Deep expertise in the retail industry with a thorough understanding of retail operations, technology, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with OMS implementations.
- Proven ability in consulting and discovery phases.
- Several years of experience in product and/or project management, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bonus: Experience with POS implementations, PIM platforms, or relevant technologies like Fluent Commerce, Akeneo, OneStock, or NewStore.
- Act as a functional specialist and subject matter expert (SME) on retail operations projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building trust and understanding their business needs.
- Lead in-depth discovery sessions to define project scope and identify business requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to define the future state of their operations and align on implementation scope.
- Develop client-facing deliverables like functional requirements and implementation plans.
- Facilitate client workshops and on-sites to plan roadmaps and align on project requirements.
- Advocate for change management early and integrate client readiness into project planning.
- Lead executive stakeholder meetings and support internal risk management discussions during implementation.
