Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Python.
- Experience in testing back-end services and large data sets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Experience with test case design and test documentation.
- Commitment to technical quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with AWS data tools (S3, Redshift, RDS, and EMR) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a distributed, remote team environment on Eastern Time hours.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust test frameworks for back-end services.
- Identify potential bugs proactively and isolate existing issues.
- Write and automate comprehensive test cases.
- Perform functional and regression testing on a high volume of daily changes.
- Document test descriptions and test plans.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Project teams.
- Research issues to maintain quality in large financial data sets.
