Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, specifically in developer productivity, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Python, Rust, and shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline optimization (e.g., Github Actions, ArgoCD).
- Expertise in local development environments and reproducibility (e.g., devcontainers, Nix, Docker).
- Experience with containerization and image optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents.
- Deep knowledge of test infrastructure, orchestration, and flaky-test management.
- Experience with monorepo tooling and build systems (e.g., pnpm, Nx, Turborepo, Bazel).
- Ability to use data-driven approaches to track and improve productivity metrics (e.g., DORA).
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within asynchronous or globally distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Improve local development stability, reproducibility, and onboarding self-service.
- Enhance IDE and editor tooling, including code search, indexing, and navigation.
- Build golden-path workflows, project scaffolding, and templates.
- Optimize CI pipelines, test orchestration, and ephemeral end-to-end testing environments.
- Profile and reduce build, test, and CI bottlenecks via parallelization and caching.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted coding agents and plugins.
- Track and improve engineering productivity metrics such as DORA.
- Build dashboards to monitor code quality, coverage, and mutation testing.
