Requirements
- 8+ years of DevOps and DevSecOps engineering experience.
- At least one production pipeline owned end-to-end at scale.
- 3+ years working in DoW or federal cloud environments at IL-4 or IL-5 (AWS GovCloud strongly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience implementing security controls, compliance validation, and evidence generation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Direct experience supporting an ATO, cATO, or equivalent government authorization.
- Ability to work under hard deadlines and manage environment/approval constraints.
- Active US Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Own the initial platform deployment into the government IL-5 environment as a primary contract deliverable.
- Build and prove pipeline and infrastructure-as-code on cloud infrastructure using portable templates.
- Operate CI/CD pipelines including static/dynamic security analysis, software composition analysis, and container scanning.
- Design and establish development, test, and production environments in AWS GovCloud at IL-5.
- Implement security controls and produce continuous control evidence for System Security Plan inputs and audits.
- Serve as the primary engineering counterpart to customer security and accreditation staff to support ATO/cATO processes.
- Direct a small team of platform, cloud, and DevOps engineers, setting standards for release hygiene, secrets management, and infrastructure as code.
